DEANNA YUSOFF

Deanna Yusoff is the very definition of the versatile performer – she’s a singer, actor, model, songwriter, composer and television personality. She’s no stranger to challenge and consistently and continually seeks new and different ways to raise the bar for herself and achieve her goals. It all began in 1991, when Deanna clinched the lead role in the play Couples de Champagne at the Theatre de la Cite de Fribourg, Switzerland. She was instantly intrigued with the art form and followed that inaugural performance with classes and workshops in Switzerland and at Citylit London in the UK. While Deanna knew immediately that theatre was her first and primary passion, that early experience also left her hungry for more performing opportunities. She began her film career in late 1991, playing the lead role of Mastura in the Malaysian film Selubung. For this she won the coveted best actress award at the 10th annual Malaysian Film Festival in 1992.
