RESHMONU

Reshmonu (born Hiresh Haridas, Malayalam born 26 May 1976 in Malacca) is a singer-songwriter from Malaysia who does mostly-English songs. He is known for songs such as "Walk Away", "Cintaku Pergi", "Hey Waley" and "Superfine", as well as for his hairstyles. Reshmonu released his debut album, Monumental, in 2003 under Dhanosh Records, after taking four years to complete. Among the songs in this album were Walk Away and It's You That Matters. The album earned him seven AIM nominations in 2004, of which he landed three into his collection (Best Male Vocals, Best English-language Artiste, Best Engineering for an Album). In 2005, Reshmonu re-released his debut album under Sony BMG in repackaged form with new material, titled Monumental: the Journey Continues which included Kiranya Tiada Lagi (the Malay version of Walk Away) and Hey Waley. In 2006, Reshmonu founded Reshmonu Sdn Bhd, popularly known as "R Records", to Universal Music to work on his new album, Superfine. The album was launched in a party on 31 January 2007.
